Jeanne Peffley-Wilson
Jeanne has trained dogs seriously for 18 years and now has trained for CPT for the past 9 years. Jeanne has a B.S. degree in engineering
from the University of Santa Clara.
She has achieved 3 AKC Companion Dog (CD)
titles, 3 AKC Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) titles, and one Utility Dog (UD) title with her Flat Coated Retriever,
Pepper, her Yellow Labrador, Sunny, and her Flat Coated Retriever, Raven, including over 26 placements
and 7 first place finishes.
Pepper's scores qualified him to participate in the 1998 Southeast Regional Championships.
She also has finished AKC Conformation Championship (CH) titles with Pepper and Raven.
Jeanne has titled Pepper, Sunny, and Raven in AKC novice, open, excellent and master excellent
agility (MX) competition, including over 150 placements and 50+ first place finishes and
has qualified for the 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2006 AKC Agility National Championships.
Her dogs are also titled in USDAA agility competition. All three dogs have achieved
Advanced Agility Dog (AAD) titles. Pepper and Sunny also have consistently been ranked by
the American Kennel club in the top five in their breed category in agility competition, while Raven has been ranked in the top ten.
Raven and Sunny have achieved a USDAA Master Relay (RM) title.
Pepper and Sunny also have earned AKC Working Certificates (WC) for their prowess in hunting
trials. Jeanne's accomplishments with Pepper have gained him membership in the
prestigious Flat Coated Retriever Hall of Fame. Jeanne has been the Pet Evaluator and Temperament Tester for
Happy Tails Pet Therapy. She continues to expand her training knowledge by attending
seminars, including those conducted by Connie Cleveland, Kass Goulding, Linda Mecklenburg,
and Dr. John Wright. Jeanne performs In-Home Private Lessons
and Boarding Training services for CPT.
